Practice space
The rooftop fits 30 to 40 people for practice. The main living room works too. We've hosted yoga groups and other events before. The roof has no shade and the house has no yoga mats, so bring your own.
Room for the whole group
Casa Altamar sleeps more people than any other rental in Yelapa, by a wide margin. Yoga groups book it for that reason. Everyone sleeps in one house with two kitchens, and the rooftop fits 30 to 40 people for practice.
Sleeping
Six bedrooms: three kings, six queens and one pull-out couch, for 20 people. The lower residence has its own entrance, which works well for retreat leaders or couples.
Events and weddings
Events of up to 72 people are welcome, and the rooftop suits weddings. There are no set quiet hours, but please keep the neighbors in mind.
Getting a big group here
Felipe's private boat takes up to 15 people from Puerto Vallarta: $250 one way, $400 round trip. Groups over 15: we recommend the water taxi for the rest, or Felipe makes a second run at the same price.
Extras on request
Felipe and Yanet, our hosts in Yelapa, can arrange these:
- Private boat from Puerto Vallarta with Felipe, up to 15 people: $250 one way, $400 round trip. A second run for a bigger group costs the same.
- Groceries stocked before you arrive: $25 plus the cost of the groceries.
- Meals cooked by Yanet: $50 per meal plus groceries. Catering is available too; ask us.
- Daily touch-up clean: $100 per day. On stays longer than a week, a full mid-stay clean: $200.
